Angels for Elders recently helped sponsor a Sock Hop held at the San Marcos Activities Building.  There was a great turn out and everyone had a great time.  The cute little lady in the poodle skirt was celebrating her 90+ birthday!

A big thank you to Angels for Elders own Claudia Ramirez for

Volunteering at the recent Seton Hays Hospital  Annual Health

Fair.  Have not heard the numbers for this year yet but last year

over a 1,000 participated in this wonderful event!

Angels for Elders recently joined forces with CTMC to host a senior dance at the San Marcos Activities Center.  Red, White & Blue were in abundance as seniors took to the dance floor to enjoy and afternoon of patriotic pride and fun.

Once again the Angels for Elders staff are partnering with other Wimberley businesses to form a team for the 2014 walk.
If you are interested in joining us our team is called the Wimberley Walkers – we currently have 10 team members.  If you are interested in joining us go to http://act.alz.org/Hays14 and register – then come out Sat. Nov. 15th at 10 am and join us!  The walk will be at the San Marcos City Park Recreation Hall.                                                                                                                                                                                            

Angels for Elders will help host the Hill Country Jazz Band Concerts

Sunday, September 21st from 4 – 6 pm  all proceeds are to benefit the

Alzheimer’s Association.

Please come out and support us in this effort!

 

Alzheimer’s Association – Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The Angels for Elders staff are partnering with other Wimberley businesses to form a team called the Wimberley Walkers – we currently have 15 team members.  If you are interested in joining us go to http://act.alz.org/Hays13 and register – then come out Nov. 2nd and join us!

Movie Night!  The Wimberley Walkers are hosting a movie night at the Corral Theater – “Young Frankenstein” will be shown on the big screen on Saturday, Oct. 19th.  Prizes will be given out for the best Frankenstein costume.  All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Come on out and enjoy! and help us raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Wimberley Walkers Hosted  the Hill Country Jazz Band on Sept 22 and donations totaled $1,000!  What a great team.

Wimberley Trail of Light

Angels for Elders is participating in the Wimberley Trail of Lights, held each year at the Emily Ann Theater.  Come out and enjoy the beautiful display of Christmas Lights available to the general public free of charge through the end of December.  Donations to help cover the electricity are appreciated.

Spring CTAS Golf Scramble

Angels for Elders is supporting this Texas Style event on May 25th
The scramble will be held at the Quail Creek Golf Club located in San Marcos
Funds raised by this annual event go to help off set the expense of the annual
Thanksgiving Dinners put on by CTAS in both San Marcos and New Braunfels.
